Stop 7, Corning Museum of Glass

We are en route to Watkins Glen State Park and made a side trip to the Museum of Glass.
Frances made a Christmas ornament in the studio.
Corning is a nice town.  The downtown remains vibrant.  We had a wonderful lunch at Tossed.  Frances loves the museum.  I was impressed with the art work and learned some science, but I still don't know what glass is, nor how it's made.
I saw the largest punch bowl in North America, which I didn't even know was a thing.  Glass is beautiful, but I just don't need any more of it.  Please make an automotive windshield that won't chip or crack.
